Acknowledgements

Recognition, respect and culture.

In yoga, lineage is important.

I feel enormous gratitude for the ancient Indian spiritual practice of yoga, and extend that gratitude to the teachers who have passed it down over thousands of years.

The teachers who have been most influential on my teaching journey include Sudhir Rishi (Sthira Yoga School), Sian Pascale (The Light Collective), and Duncan Peak and Truth Robinson (Power Living).

Green Door Yoga acknowledges the traditional custodians of the unceded land on which we live, breathe and practice; the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains.

We recognise their deep and continuing connection to culture and country.

We pay our respects to all elders, past, present and emerging.

As a business on Indigenous Australian land, Green Door Yoga commits to paying the rent.

We donate 1% of our profit to Pay the Rent, a grassroots-initiative run by a sovereign body of First Nations people.

If you’d like more information on our donation practices, please contact us.
